This weekend Amanda and I went hiking on the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall. Its a remote, incredibly beautiful area far from the jostling crowds of domestic tourists over parts of the wall that are largely unrestored. Cooperation on the weather’s end gave us blue skies and breezes, it was an awesome day to hike.

Blue skies, sunshine, and the wall receding into mountains.

And of course, this wouldn’t be complete without one of my now routine, 360° video clips. The short, banging noises are from a shooting range on a military base not far from where we were walking:

haha, thank you! It was a fantastic day, and we actually got pretty lucky because the air is almost never that clear. Visibility was amazing, and combine that with remote, gorgeous scenery and bang, you’ve got some pretty kickass panoramas.

Devin- This picture is AMAZING. I’m a web designer, and I was wondering if I could use your image for a non profit website. Can you email me? I’ll tell you more details. Thanks,
