Preserved duck eggs. They are prepared by leaving uncooked duck eggs in a lime water solution for nearly 3 months. Despite their questionable appearance, they’re quite good.

      I’ll see what I can do about the accurate recipe. I might have a tough time explaining this in customs if I tried to smuggle one back: “its a 3 month old uncooked duck egg in lime water, whats the big deal?”
