I wish all of you could read this note, or understand it, but in light of certain characteristics fundamental to your nature it will unfortunately not be possible.
I just want to say thank you for being awesome. Spread about the forest floor, whispering gossip along slender, wind bent fronds, you bring a hushed tranquility to meandered invasions of your shady communities that strikes a chord hidden somewhere in the primitive recesses of my being.
I love your thoughtful curiosity, heads up and unfurled across hillsides or sprouting enthusiastically from the damp soil of scattered glens. All of you seem somehow to exist beyond time, living testimony to the existence of myth and magic, observing in perpetuity the story of this world with patient, prehistoric demeanor.
You bring an understated beauty to this place, our lonely little planet, and I can’t thank you enough for it.
Stay well, murmur softly, and enjoy yourselves.
